Observations and Notes

The Strevell Arrow is located in the middle of a large desert plain surrounded by mountains just off of Hwy 81 in southern Idaho, approximately one mile north of the Utah border.  There is a dirt road that leads right up to the arrow, so no walking on our part.

The arrow is complete and in fair condition.  The base of the arrow where the generator shed stood is not at the beginning of the arrow, but placed separately just to the left of where it would normally be.

The arrow itself is 47 feet in length.

The pilot would approach the tail of the arrow on a compass heading of 340° (N-NW), and then exit the arrow on a compass heading of 324° (NW).

All measurements and compass headings are approximate.
