Carrollton

Department of Commerce Intermediate field, site 4A. Louisville-Cleveland Airway. Three and seven-tenths miles SE. of city at Intersection of road and railroad. Altitude, 625 feet. T shape, 33 acres, sod, level, natural and tile drainage; two landing strips 2,130 by 500 feet N./S., 1,500 by 600 feet E./W. Directional arrow marked "4 L-C." Pole line to SW. Beacon tower to S. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "4" (....) No servicing facilities.

Elizabethtown

Department of Commerce Intermediate field, site 76, Dallas-Louisville Airway. One and one-half miles SW., on State Highway 50. Altitude, 708 feet. Irregular, sod, level, natural drainage; three landing strips, 2,600 feet E./W., 2,000 feet N./S., and 3,200 feet NW./SE. Directional arrow marked "76 D-L" Fence surrounds field. Beacon, boundary, and approach lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "6" ( . _). No servicing facilities. 

Glendale

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 75B, Dallas-Louisville Airway. Three-quarters mile NE. of Glendale. Altitude, 712 feet. L shape, 70 acres, sod, level, natural drainage; three landing strips, NW./SE. 2,400 by 600 feet, NE./SW. 2,200 by 623 feet, E./W. 2,560 feet; entire field available. Directional arrow marked "75B, D-L." Buildings, trees, and blinker to N.; pole lines on W. Boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Blinker, green, flashing characteristic "5" (. — .). No servicing facilities. 

La Grunge

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 2, Louisville-Cleveland Airway. One mile NE. Altitude, 900 feet. T shape, 47 acres, sod,  level, natural drainage; two landing strips, 1,450 feet E./W., 2,000 feet N./S. Directional arrow marked "2 L-C." Pole line to E., beacon tower and knoll to SB. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-Inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "2" (. ._). Aviation fuel, day only. 

Lilburn

Lat. 35° 50' 30", long. 84° 7' 42". Type B. Type B. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by generating set at base of tower.  Caretaker in charge. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Smiths Grove

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 71, Dallas-Louisville Airway. One mile NE. of city. Altitude, 635 feet. L shape, 121 acres, sod, level, natural drainage; two landing strips, 3.200 feet N./S., and 2,200 feet NE./SW. Directional arrow marked "71 D-L." Deep gully toNE., pole line to W. Beacon, boundary, and approach lights. Beacon. 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "1" (. ). No servicing facilities.

Warsaw

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 5A, Louisville-Cleveland Airway. One-half mile W. of Warsaw on Highway 42. Altitude, 485 feet. Rectangular, 101 acres, 2,900 by 1,650 feet. Directional arrow marked "5A, L-C." Beacon, boundary, and approach lights. Beacon, green, flashing characteristic "5" (. .). No servicing facilities. Teletypewriter.
