Elizabeth

Site No. 2 NY-B, Lat. 40° 39' 45", -74° 17' 24". Type A. (24" rotating electric beacon, operated by commercial power; sun relay control. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Preparations are being made to install arrows at the base of the towers, pointing along the course to the northerly terminal.  These will be placed by July 1, 1927.)

Newark

Site No. 2 NY-B, . Lat. 40° 48' 6", - 74° 9' 30". Type A. (24" rotating electric beacon, operated by commercial power; sun relay control. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Preparations are being made to install arrows at the base of the towers, pointing along the course to the northerly terminal.  These will be placed by July 1, 1927.)

Whitehouse

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 69, Chicago-New York Airway. One and one-half S. of city, 8 miles NW. of Somerville, N. J., 18 miles W. of Hadley Airport, New Brunswick, N. J. Altitude, 210 feet L shape, 45 acres, 1,380 by 2,100 feet, sod, slight slope to S., natural and tile drainage; entire field available. Directional arrow marked "69 C-NY." Pole line on E., high trees to NE., low brush to B. Beacon, boundary, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "9" ( _ _ .). No servicing facilities.

Pole line on W., high trees to NE., low brush to E. Beacon, boundary, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "8" (_…). No servicing facilities.
