Castle Rock

Intermediate fields.—Standard equipment of Department of Commerce intermediate fields on this route include the 24" rotating electric beacon, course lights, internally lighted, wind indicator (cone) tower, and 54' concrete arrow, 50' circle marker at intersection of landing strips, white boundary lights, green approach lights, and red obstruction lights. Rectangular, 43 acres, 2,999 by 600 feet, sod, slight slope from W. to E., natural drainage. Directional arrow marked "8A P-C." Pole line to E., beacon tower to SE trees to SW. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "8" (— . . .) Aviation fuel, day and night.

Dover

Site, 18 P-C Lat. 40° 49' 16", long. 104° 48' 21". Type C. Intermediate fields.—Standard equipment of Department of Commerce intermediate fields on this route include the 24" rotating electric beacon, course lights, internally lighted, wind indicator (cone) tower, and 54' concrete arrow, 50' circle marker at intersection of landing strips, white boundary lights, green approach lights, and red obstruction lights. On this route the arrow is not flood lighted. Type C : Intermediate field, with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by generating set at base of tower. Caretaker in charge. (40 49 16, -104 48 21)

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 18, Pueblo-Cheyenne Airway. Two miles N. of city, W. of Union Pacific Railroad. Altitude, 5,500 feet Rectangular, 112 acres, 2,130 by 2,600 feet, sandy loam and gravel, level, natural drainage. Directional arrow marked "18 P-C." Pole line, windmill, and beacon tower to NW. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "8" ( . . .) Aviation fuel, day only.

Englewood

Site, 10 P-C Lat. 39° 37' 27", long. 104° 53' 12". Type D.  (On sites A and D the site number and route designation (P-C) are located on the arrow.)

Fort Lupton

Site, 12 P-C Lat. 40" 5', long. 104° 47'. Type D. L shape. 84 acres, 2,640 by 1,850 and 1,320 by 728 feet; sod, level, natural drainage; entire field available. Directional arrow marked "13 P-C." Pole line to S beacon tower to SE trees to N. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-lnch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "3" (..._). Aviation fuel, day and night.

Rectangular, 122 acres, 2,592 feet N./S., 2,448 feet E./W., loam, clay, and gravel, level, natural drainage; entire field available. Directional arrow marked "6 P-C." Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "6" ( .—). Aviation fuel, day and night.
