Observations and Notes

The current day Malad City Airport is located approximately 3 miles southwest of Malad City. It is believed to have been built about 1945, as that is when AirNav shows it was activated.

The Department of Commerce Intermediate Landing Field site No. 10 on the Salt Lake City-Pocatello section, of the Salt Lake-Great Falls airway was located 4 miles northwest of Malad City. Do not know it's start date or end date, but we know it was in operation between 1931 and 1938 from the Airway Bulletin No. 2 descriptions. It most likely stopped being used when WWII broke out, or shortly before the Malad City Airport opened.
