Arrows were know to be at the following South Carolina locations. If the intermediate fields had arrows, it is very likely that the beacons between fields also had arrows.

Anderson

Site No. 12. Intermediate field. Lat. 34° 32' 12", Ion. 82° 41' 20". Type D. Intermediate field with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by commercial power; sun relay control.  The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Lane

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 24, Jacksonville-Richmond Airway. Two and one-half miles S. Altitude, 50 feet. Rectangular, 120 acres, 2,800 by 2,350 feet, sod, level, natural drainage. Pole line to E and S. Directional arrow marked "24 J-R." Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "4" (....). No servicing facilities.

Department of Commerce Intermediate field, site 24. Jacksonville-Richmond Airway. One mile S. Altitude, 50 feet. Rectangular, 120 acres. 2,800 by 2,350 feet, sod, level, natural drainage. Beacon, 36-inch, showing alternate green and white flashes, with green course lights flashing characteristic "4" (....)- No servicing facilities. 

Reidville

Site No. 32. Intermediate Field.... . Lat . 36° 17' 35", long. 79° 34' 55". Type D. ATLANTA-NEW YORK AIRWAY (A.-N. Y.)— 768 MILES  Greensboro-Richmond Section—180 miles. Intermediate field with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by commercial power; sun relay control.  The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Reidville. Lat, 34° 49' 13", Iong. 82° 5' 33". Type A. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by commercial power; sun relay control. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Sadler.

Site No. 11Lat. 34° 27' 40", long. 82° 48' 32". Type B. Type B. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by generating set at base of tower.  Caretaker in charge. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Simpsonville

Site No. 15. Intermediate field. Lat. 34° 42' 38", long. 82° 15' 00". Type D. Intermediate field with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by commercial power; sun relay control.  The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Williamston

Site No. 13. Lat. 34° 35' 27", long. 82° 30' 10". Type A. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by commercial power; sun relay control. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Woodville

Site No. 14. Lat. 34° 39' 37", long. 82° 23' 22'. Type B. Type B. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by generating set at base of tower.  Caretaker in charge. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.
