Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 6, Atlanta- Chicago Airway. Three miles N. Altitude, 772 feet. T shape, 44 acres, 1,950 feet N./S. by 1.675 feet E/W sod, sloping, natural drainage; two run ways, 1,950 by 500 feet N./S. and 1,675 by 500 feet E./W. Directional arrow marked "6 A-C." Beacon tower and building to W. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "6" (—. —). No servicing facilities. Teletype.

Rectangular, 50 acres, sod, level, natural drainage; two runways, 2,400 feet N./S., and 1.550 feet NE./SW. Directional arrow marked " 5 J-R." Pole line to E., scattered trees. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "5" (. _ .). No servicing facilities. 

Commerce

Site No. 7 A-NYLat. 34° 9' 35", long. 83° 24' 33". Type A. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by commercial power; sun relay control. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Dacula

Site No. 4 A-NY Lat. 33° 58' 39", long. 83° 51' 3". Type B. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by generating set at base of tower.  Caretaker in charge. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Decatur

Site No. 1 A-NY, Lat. 33° 44' 12", long 84° 16' 48". Type B. Type B. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by generating set at base of tower.  Caretaker in charge. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Fort Lamar

Site No. 8 A-NY Lat. 34° 13' 26", long. 83° 16' 12". Type B. Type B. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by generating set at base of tower.  Caretaker in charge. Harris Neck

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 8, Jacksonville- Richmond Airway. Located W. of Gould's Landing. Altitude, 10 feet. Irregular. 93 acres, 2,600 by 2,550 feet, sod, level, natural drainage. Scattering trees. Directional arrow marked "8 J-R." Beacon, boundary, and approach lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "8" (_...) No servicing facilities. 

Hartwell

Site No. 10 A-NY Lat. 34° 21' 56", long. 82° 57' 44". Type A. 24" rotating electric beacon, operated by commercial power; sun relay control. The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Jefferson.

Site No.6 A-NY Intermediate field. Lat. 35'° 5' 20", long. 83° 34' 9". Type D. Intermediate field with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by commercial power; sun relay control.  The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Lawrenceville

Site No. 3 A-NY Intermediate field, Lat. 33° 56' 5", long. 83° 58' 39". Type D.  Intermediate field with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by commercial power; sun relay control.  The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

Newman

Department of Commerce Intermediate field, site 39, New Orleans-Atlanta Airway. Three and one-half miles S.; B. of highway and railroad. Altitude, 1,000 feet. Irregular, 70 acres, sod, level, natural drainage; two landing strips, 2,100 feet N./S., and 2,800 feet NW./SB. Directional arrow marked "39 NO-A." Pole line to W. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 36-inch rotating, double-ended clear, with green course lights flashing characteristic "0" ( .) No servicing facilities.

Irregular, 100 acres, 3,175 by 2,325 feet, sod, level, natural drainage. Directional arrow marked "5 M-A." Beacon tower to SW. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "5" (. — .) No servicing facilities. 

Royston

Site No. 9 A-NY Intermediate field, Lat. 34° 18' 10", long. 83° 6' 00". Type D. Intermediate field with 24" rotating electric beacon, boundary lights, obstruction lights, etc., operated by commercial power; sun relay control.  The electric beacons are mounted on 50' steel towers.  Arrows at the base of the towers point along the course to the northerly terminal.

St. Marks

Department of Commerce Intermediate field, site 2, Jacksonville-Richmond Airway. One mile NW. Altitude, 25 feet. Irregular, 70 acres, 2,900 by 2,100 feet, sod, level, natural drainage. Villa Rica

Department of Commerce intermediate field, site 45, New Orleans-Atlanta Airway. Six miles SW adjoins Hickory. Altitude, 1.100 feet. Irregular shape, 31 acres, 2,000 by 300 feet, sod, rolling, natural drainage. Directional arrow marked "45 NO-A." Scattered trees. Beacon, boundary, approach, and obstruction lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, with green course lights flashing characteristic "5" (. — .). No servicing facilities. 

Winder
