This arrow was created using red morter, thus the reddish color.

The Odessa beacon site is located out a very large field just south of the airport in Odessa, Tx. We strongly suggest using gps when walking out to the arrow, as it's located among tall grass & bushes. Even with our gps device we found it somewhat difficult to locate it, even though we were within 100 feet of it. You can't see it until you're almost on it.
