The Potter Arrow is located along Hwy 30 (Lincoln Hwy) in western Nebraska near the border of Wyoming. This area is a rural farming area of rolling hills and small towns. The arrow itself was about a mile from where we had parked along Hwy 30 over fairly level ground. However at one point I did have to climb up a small escarpment. It took me about 10 minutes of searching before I was able to find a way up.
The arrow us in fair condition and nearly complete except for the pad where the generator shed stood. All that remains now is the outside foundation.
The total length of the arrow is 57 feet.
The pilot would approach the tail of the arrow on a compass heading of 104° (E-SE), and then exit the arrow on a compass heading of 104° (E-SE).
