July 18, 2018 Simon Dredge writes:

I hiked up to this beacon on 7/17/18 and took these photos. It is/was reasonably remote and on the highest peak in the area but is now being encroached on by (currently grading for) large new housing developments.

Here's some drone pics I took today.  Don't know if it blew down, rotted away or was pulled down. Not sure if it'll be there in the next few years as there's a housing development being built right up against it.
