Observations and Notes

The Montague Arrow is located 5 miles east of I-5 on a small hill above the airport in the town of Montague, Ca.  It was an easy 5 minute hike from the car to the arrow.  From the arrow I could see Mt. Shasta off in the distance to the south.

The arrow is complete and in good condition.  The arrow is 57 feet in length.

The pilot would approach the tail of the arrow on a compass heading of 355° (basically north), and then exit the arrow on a compass heading of 10° (basically north).
All measurements and compass headings are approximate.

Due to the arrow being located adjacent to the Montague Airport, the use of our drone to obtain aerial photographs is prohibited under Federal Regulations.
