September 2, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 5 Dallas-Louisville airway.—A preliminary survey has been made of this airway, but the ground survey has not yet been started. It is expected that an extension superintendent will be assigned to this airway in the near future.
September 15, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 6 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Airways Extension Supt. William S. Kenyon is now making a preliminary survey of this airway.
October 1, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 7 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Extension Superintendent Kenyon is engaged in selecting intermediate field sites. No definite information relative to any sites has yet been received. It is expected that the survey of the Louisville end of the route will be completed first.
October 15, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 8 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon is engaged in selecting intermediate field sites. It is expected that survey of the Louisville end of this route will be completed first in order that the conditioning of fields on the northern end of this line may be accomplished before winter.
November 1, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 09 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The survey of this airway is under the supervision of Airways Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon, who is licensing intermediate fields on the Memphis-Louisville section, at the present time.
November 15, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 10 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Airways Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon is selecting the Intermediate fields.
December 1, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 11 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Airways Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon Is surveying this airway for day fields. At present Mr. Kenyon Is working on survey between Memphis and Nashville.
December 15, 1930 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 12 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Day fields are being selected along this airway by Airways Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon. The Nashville-Louisville section of this airway will be surveyed for night flying. The remaining part of this airway, at the present time, will be prepared for day flying.
January 2, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 13 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Extension Superintendent W. S. Kenyon is selecting and negotiating for day fields on this airway. Assistant Engineer R. F. Wallace and Junior Civil Engineer E. F. Hoover are engaged in surveying intermediate landing fields on this airway and it is expected that conditioning work on these fields will be started in the near future.
February 2, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 15 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Intermediate fields on this airway are being licensed by Extension Superintendent W. S" Kenyon. Detailed surveys in preparation for field conditioning contracts are being made by Assistant Civil Engineer R. F. Wallace and Junior Civil Engineer E. F. Hoover.
February 16, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 16 Dallas-Louisville airway. — Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon is selecting: and negotiating for intermediate field sites. Tentative selection of sites has been made on the Little Rock-Louisville section. Assistant Civil Engineer Wallace and Junior Civil Engineer Hoover are preparing proposals and specifications for conditioning these fields.
March 2, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 17 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon Is concluding negotiations for the remaining sites on this airway. The survey of the Texarkana-Louisville section is nearly complete. Assistant Civil Engineer R. F. Wallace is assisting in the survey of Intermediate fields and is preparing proposals and specifications for conditioning these sites.
March 16, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 18 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon has concluded negotiations for all field sites on the Texarkana-Louisville section and is completing work on the Dallas-Texarkana section, after which he will proceed to the Nashville-Louisville section and select and license beacon sites. Assistant Engineer R. P. Wallace is making surveys of the intermediate fields, preparing proposals and specifications for conditioning these sites.
April 1, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 19 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nearly all intermediate fields have been negotiated for along this airway by Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon. Mr. Kenyon has begun survey of the Nashville- Louisville section to select sites for the installation of 24-inch revolving beacons.
April 15, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 20 Dallas-Louisville airway.—All intermediate fields have been selected and licensed by Airways Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon, who is now locating beacon sites between Nashville and Louisville. The conditioning of all fields on the Dallas-Nashville section has been undertaken by Junior Civil Engineers Wallace and Grieb.
June 1, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 2 No. 23 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Airways Extension Superintendent Kenyon is locating beacon sites on the Nashville- Louisville section. Field conditioning in this airway is now under way under the supervision of Assistant Civil Engineer Wallace and Junior Civil Engineer Grieb.

July 1, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 01 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The intermediate fields on this airway are being advertised for conditioning. Assistant Airways Engineers D. J. Mackie and R. F. Wallace, and Junior Civil Engineer James W. Arnold are supervising the conditioning work.

August 15, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 03 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section : Materials have been ordered shipped for this section of the airway and it is expected that the contractor for construction will begin operations In the near future.

October 1, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 07 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: Contractor is organizing crew and distributing material to the various sites.
October 1, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 07 Dallas-Louisville airway.—This airway is being surveyed for beacon sights. At present the survey is being accomplished by Junior Civil Engineer McKean. Additional personnel will be assigned to complete the survey of this airway.
November 2, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 09 Dallas - Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: Nine towers have been erected on this section of the airway. It is estimated that 15 per cent of the work has been completed.
November 2, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 09 Dallas-Louisville airway. — Junior Civil Engineer G. S. McKean, with the assistance of Junior Civil Engineer J. W. Arnold, is completing the survey of beacon sites between Dallas and Nashville. Airways Extension Superintendent W. S. Kenyon is being assigned to take over this work.
November 16, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 10 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: Sixteen towers have been erected on this section of the airway and the contract is approximately 20 per cent complete.
November 16, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 10 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The section of airway between Dallas and Nashville is being surveyed for beacon sites. This work is under the supervision of Airways Extension Supts. W. S. Kenyon, J. L. Rhodes, and Junior Civil Engineer G. S. McKean.
December 15, 1931 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 12 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Airways Extension Supts. W. S. Kenyon and J. L. Rhodes are selecting beacon sites on this airway. The survey Is approximately 70 per cent completed. Intermediate fields on this airway have been conditioned. It is expected that most of the fields will be completed in the near future. This work is assigned to Junior Engineers McKean and Grieb, and Surveyman Buckner.

January 2, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 13 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: All towers, 16 in number, erected and major items complete at 12 sites. Contract about 50 per cent completed.
January 2, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 13 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The leasing of beacon sites on the Saltillo-Memphis section is under the supervision of Airways Extension Superintendents W. S. Kenyon and J. L. Rhodes. This work is about 80 per cent completed.

February 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 15 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: Major items have been completed at 15 sites on this section of the airway, and 16 beacons are in operation. It is estimated that approximately 80 per cent of the work has been completed.
February 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 15 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The survey for beacon sites on this airway has been completed. This work is being Inspected by Airways Extension Supt. L. C. Elliott. The survey work was accomplished under the supervision of Airways Extension Supts. W. S. Kenyon and J. L. Rhodes.
February 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 16 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: 10 lights are in operation on this section of the airway, and all work has been completed except that involved in changing the locations of two sites.
February 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 16 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Airways Extension Supt. W. S. Kenyon is finishing the survey of beacon sites along this route. This work should be completed within a short time.
March 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 17 Dallas - Louisville airway. — Nashville-Louisville section: Final inspection of this section of the airway was accomplished during the first part of February and the contractor's work accepted on behalf of the Department of Commerce. Additional work made necessary by change of location of two sites is now in progress.
March 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 17 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The survey of the Dallas-Nashville section for beacon sites has been completed. Junior Engineers McKean and Grieb are engaged in completing the conditioning work on the intermediate fields on the entire route.
March 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 18 Dallas-Louisville airway—Nashville-Louisville section : Final inspection was accomplished during the first part of February and the contractor's work accepted on behalf of the Department of Commerce. Bids for additional work of installing Glendale field and beacon, by reason of relocation, were opened on February 19, 1932.
March 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 18 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Junior Engineers McKean. Grieb, and Dreesen are engaged in completing the conditioning work on intermediate fields on this route.
April 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 19 Dallas-Louisville Airway. — Dallas-Little Rock section: Bids will he invited soon for opening in April covering the installation of lighting facilities, comprising about 22 beacons which include 5 fields.
April 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 19 Dallas-Louisville Airway. — Little Rock-Nashville section: Bids will be Invited shortly for opening in April covering the installation of lighting facilities, comprising about 26 beacons, which include 5 fields.
April 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 19 Dallas-Louisville Airway. — Nashville-Louisville section: The contract was completed during the first part of February, and the 13 beacons are now in commission. Contract for installing Glendale Field and beacons by reason of relocation, has been awarded. Proposals for changes at Smith Grove Field will be issued in the near future.
April 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 19 Dallas-Louisville airway.—The survey for lights along this airway has been completed. Junior Engineers McKean, Grieb, Dreesen, and Hammersla are at work completing conditioning work of fields.
April 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 20 Dallas-Louisville Airway.—Dallas-Little Rock section: Bids for constructing this section of the airway were opened on April 7 and the con- tract will be awarded within a short time.
April 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 20 Dallas-Louisville Airway.—All beacon sites have been selected on the Dallas-Nashville section and Junior Engineers McKean, Grieb, Dreesen. and Hammersla are completing work at the intermediate fields along this route. Junior Engineer McKean is obtaining borings to determine the nature of the subsoil at all beacon sites.
April 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 20 Dallas-Louisville Airway.—Little Rock-Nashville section: Bids for installing lighting facilities on this section of the airway will be opened within a week or two.
April 15, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 20 Dallas-Louisville Airway.—Nashville-Louisville section: Installation of lighting facilities at Glendale Field and the relocated beacon sites will be started within a short time. Proposals for changes at the Smith Grove Field were opened on April 15, and contract for performing the work will be awarded in the near future.
May 2, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 21 Dallas-Little Rock section.—Bids for Installing lighting facilities were called for opening April 25. The work involved comprises the installation of about 22 airways rotating beacons, 5 of which will be located at intermediate landing fields. 
May 2, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 21 Little Rock-Nashville section.—Bids for installing lighting facilities involving about 26 beacons, 4 of which will be located at intermediate landing fields, will be issued in the near future for opening the latter part of May. 
May 2, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 21 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Nashville-Louisville section : The contract for installation of lighting facilities on the Glendale field has been awarded and work commenced. Proposals for changes at Smiths Grove field were to have been opened April 21. 
May 2, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 21 Dallas-Louisville airway.—Intermediate fields at Cash, Saltillo, Hazen. Forrest City, and Chesterfield have been completely conditioned and final reports are being prepared on all field sites. It is expected that all fields between Dallas and Louisville, with the exceptions of the fields at Simms. Tex.; Prescott, Ark.; and Glendale. Ky., will be finished in the near future. Junior Engineers McKean, Hammersla, and Dreesen are completing work on these fields. 
May 16, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 22 Nashville-Louisville section: Bids for installation of intermediate fields at Smiths Grove, Ky., were opened on April 21, and it is expected that actual work will be started about June 1. The contract has been awarded for installing sites 75-A and 75-B in place of sites 75, 76, and a 763-mile blinker. The contractor who will perform this work has commenced operations.
May 16, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 22 Dallas-Louisville Airway. — Dallas-Little Rock section: Bids for construction of this section of the airway will be opened on May 19.
May 16, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 22 Dallas-Louisville Airway. — Recent bad weather along this airway has made additional work necessary on intermediate fields, which work is being supervised by Junior Engineers Mc- Kean. Hammersla, and Dreesen.
June 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 23 Dallas-Louisville airway. —- Dallas-Little Rock section : Bids for installing lighting facilities were opened on May 19.
June 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 23 Dallas-Louisville airway. —- Little Rock-Nashville section: Bids for installing lighting facilities comprising about 30 beacons were called for opening on June 2.
June 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 23 Dallas-Louisville airway. —- Nashville-Louisville section: Work of installing Glendale Field, site 75B. and Glendale beacon, site 75A, is under construction. Bids for reinstallation of lighting facilities at Smith Grove, Ky., site 71, were opened on April 21.
June 1, 1932 Air Commerce Bulletin Vol. 03 No. 23 Dallas-Louisville airway.—All inter-mediate landing fields on this airway have been completely conditioned with the exceptions of fields near Hazen and Prescott, Ark. The field at Glendale, Ky. is now being seeded. This will be finished in a few days.
