This video was taken on June 4, 2009. It is the only footage I was able to take of this unusual Partial Albino Black Chinned Hummingbird.
He has white plumage from below the breast down, along his wings, and white spots on his head, his tail feathers are also tiped in white and very light colored. His breast area is a light brownish color. His eyes, feet and bill are normally colored.
Look closely as there are also regularly colored adult male Black Chinned hummingbirds present. He can be seen on the left of the feeder, moves to the right, and then back to the left before flying off. He is partially hidden by another hummingbird while sitting on the feeder.
The day was unusually cool for our area. I have slowed down the action so that more of this unusally colored hummingbird can be observed. This also means that the sound if off slightly.
