The Baynesville arrow is located in a rural area southwest of Haysville, Kansas. The arrow is approximately 50 feet from the roadway, but due to heavy brush & trees it can’t be seen from the road itself. Not until you’re actually on it can you see it.
The arrow is incomplete and in poor condition with multiple cracks. The base where the generator shed once stood is missing.
The total length of the arrow that is still there is 44 feet in length.
The pilot would approach the tail of the arrow on a compass heading of 56° (NE), and then exit the arrow on a compass heading of 56° (NE).
