Observations and Notes

The Rushville beacon site is located adjacent to a paved county road out in the middle of Indiana cornfields.  Upon arrival at the site we went to the farm house located across the road from the arrow to contact the owners to advise them of our research in the area.  We were unable to locate anyone at home.

The arrow is in poor condition, with numerous cracks and sinking in some spots.

The arrow is 57 feet long and points in a W-NW direction.  The pilot would approach on a heading of 277° and exit on a heading of 277°.
