Consists of a hangar, administrator's (caretaker's) cabin, a beacon tower, and the surrounding landscaped area, representing the original site of operations for the Idaho Falls Airport.  Has photos.

Idaho Falls Airport, municipal, rating. Two miles NW. of post office. Altitude, 4,700 feet. Irregular. 40 acres, 2,710 by 1,200 feet to 300 feet E./W., sod, rolling, natural drainage. Pole lines to S. and W. trees to S., beacon to W. Beacon, boundary, and approach lights. Beacon, 24-Inch rotating clear. Aviation fuel, day only. Teletype operated by Department of Commerce.

Pole lines to S. and E., trees to S., beacon tower to E., antenna poles 250 feet E., obstruction lighted, three 30-foot antenna poles 1,000 feet SE., obstruction lighted. Beacon, boundary, and approach lights. Beacon, 24-inch rotating, clear. Facilities for servicing aircraft, day only. Department of Commerce radio range beacon, identifying signal "IF" (. . . . .), operating frequency 359 kc, and radio station KCAD, operating frequency 359 kc.
